About James
Hi, I’m James Yamauchi, the founder of Gift-of-Light. My mission is to share what’s helped me and many others to find healing, and more peace and confidence. Life’s thrown its curveballs, but through it all, I have discovered powerful methods that make a difference.
Gift-of-Light is my way of sharing these modalities. Let’s journey together toward inner peace, boosted confidence, and deep healing. It’s all about tapping into our inner light and embracing positive change.
There was a period in my life when bitterness and feelings of depression seemed like constant companions, lurking in the shadows, but ready to surface at any opportune moment. This inner struggle shadowed me from my teenage years well into my early 40s. Despite having achieved successes, a sense of deep longing persisted within me. I often felt like the proverbial square peg in a world of round holes.
I knew I needed a change, yet I had no clear vision of what that change would look like, or how to achieve it. All I knew was an intense longing for a life filled with greater meaning, happiness and fulfillment, a yearning that burned within me.
Over the years, I was fortunate to experience a series of synchronicities that introduced me to various healing modalities. Among them were Holographic Energy Healing, Universal Sphere®️, Akashic Record Reading, and Angel Channeling. Initially, my journey with each of these modalities began as a means to help myself navigate the challenges I faced. However, as I experienced their profound effects, my motivation shifted to offering these transformative services to others.
What followed was a period of self-work (as well as receiving from other practitioners), and then extending that work to others. I delved into the realms of self-healing, immersing myself in the journey of embodying worthiness and cultivating self-love.
At one point, I realized I was no longer weighed down by bitterness and feelings of depression. I hadn’t even noticed when they had disappeared — they were simply gone. It felt amazing to feel so much lighter.
I understood that this change was due to the work I’d been doing on myself and sharing with others. It was a revelation to see a problem I’d struggled with for so long had simply faded away.
Seeing how this work had helped others, I knew I had something valuable to offer. I have felt happiest when I’ve seen people’s lives change for the better because of it. So, I invite you to join me on this journey of healing and self-discovery. Let’s find that inner radiance together.
